Summer Activities for Children and Families

A series of Family Night events are held throughout the summer and are designed for children and their families. The schedule for these events is as follows:

1. Wednesday, June 14th, 6:30 p.m. – “Everyone’s A Start” featuring puppets, readers’ theater, stories and drama galore!
2. Tuesday, July 11th, 6:30 p.m. – “Working Dogs” featuring dogs which do a variety of jobs to help the community. Meet some working dogs and learn about what they do.
3. Wednesday, July 26th, 6:30 p.m. – “Puppet Workshop Performance” featuring the theater workshop participants who will present their original plays. A reception with refreshments will follow.
4. Wednesday, August 2nd, 6:30 p.m. – “Award Night” when a variety of prizes will be given to participants of the Summer Reading Program.
